Great hands on experience. Very fair and realistic. Great discussion on feed, handling, maintenance and needs of cattle, sheep and goats. Highly recommend.

The course was a perfectly tailored introduction for those starting out owning a small acreage hobby farm property. The RSPCA training staff were friendly and knowledgeable and I found the information extremely useful including many aspects of running a small flock that I had not even thought of. The face to face interaction especially with the hands on activities and the ability to walk around the Burwood facilities was great and gave me a better understanding in real time of the physical requirements for various animals.
A very valuable program that should be more widely available across the country especially since Covid with more and more people seeking a tree/sea change from the bigger cities.
I would happily travel down again for further courses related to other aspects of animal husbandry.
